Services Available 

Outpatient Psychotherapy and Counseling Services—services are provided by a stated licensed, masters- or doctoral-level mental health clinician.

Psychiatry—services for children, adolescents and adults provided two days a week by a state licensed, board-certified psychiatrist.

Evaluationservices made available to the courts, schools, human services agencies and individuals to assess an individual’s mental health status and need for services.

Crisis Intervention—provided by masters-level mental health clinicians and psychiatrists 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Medication Programprescription assistance program for certain medications; patients must meet specific criteria to participate.

New Horizons Day Program—this program enables those experiencing serious and persistent mental illness to gather together on a regular basis. The program is designed to assist the consumer in developing social, vocational and leisure skills in order to enhance the consumer’s ability to live and function independently in the community.

Supported Community Living (SCL)—provided to people with serious and persistent mental illness; for individuals to develop to their fullest potential while learning life skills.

Consultation—services which provide professional assistance and information about mental health to individuals, agencies, groups or organizations

Education—services which provide information and training regarding mental health; provided to community leaders, organizations, providers and the community.

Domestic Abuse Intervention Program—a 24-week program designed to eliminate domestic violence.

Children in the Middle—a three-hour program designed to assist parents who are divorcing or separating to work together as parents.

Anger Management—an eight-hour (4-week) program designed to assist individuals in developing positive ways of expressing negative emotions.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)—consumers who are employed may use EAPs to help manage issues that could adversely impact their work and personal lives. WCMHC accepts EAP consumers and our counselors typically provide assessment, support, and if needed, referrals to additional resources
