Timothy P. Olson, MD
, having completed his post-graduate work and residency at the University of Iowa, is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds Medical Licensure with the State of Iowa. Dr. Olson has served since 1988 as Psychiatrist and Medical Director of WCMHC, and also as Consulting Psychiatrist at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines. He is professionally affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association and the Iowa Psychiatric Society.

Ashley Kuckelman,  graduated from The University of Missouri in1988. Ashley began her career in healthcare as a geriatric social worker. Prior to her employment with WCMHC, she was the Director of Admissions and Marketing for a national long term care facility. Ashley has been an employee with WCMHC for 10 years. She served as the SCL and New Horizons Director from 2001-2009. Ashley accepted the position of Executive Director in September of 2009. She enjoys reading, going to art fairs, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara Herr, MS, LMHC, earned a master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin in Platteville, later obtaining her certification in Licensed Mental Health Counseling. Her breadth of experience includes counseling and college-level teaching in the areas of substance abuse and mental health/psychology. Barb enjoys her role as Licensed Mental Health Counselor at WCMHC, and helping individuals become independent. She has served on several local committees and the ISU Extension Council in Adair County. Barb has given numerous community presentations and has taught religious education classes at her church, and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and floral gardening.

Linda Lechien Grady, MS, LISWattended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelors of Science in French Education, having studied a year in Tours, France. Linda earned a Masters of Social Work from Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. Linda feels lucky to have lived in several places around the country and world. She and her husband Hugh moved to Iowa from Portland, Oregon in 1998. Linda’s clinical experience includes extensive work in substance abuse, crisis intervention. Linda worked for seven years at Orchard Place before joining WCMHC as a Therapist.

Jennie Salvato, BS, originally a Texan, has lived in Iowa since 1969 and worked in social services since 1983. Since completing her undergraduate studies, she has been employed in the family centered services field and as Disability Rights Advocate/Investigator for Disability Rights Iowa (formerly Iowa Protection and Advocacy). She completed her graduate studies at Drake University in Community Mental Health Counsling in December 2010. Jennie serves as WCMHC’s Intern. 

Nicole Passehlserves in the New Horizons program and administrates WCMHC’s medication program. She also co-facilitates the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program and facilitates Children in the Middle and Anger Management Classes at WCMHC. Nicole enjoys spending time with her family.

Jeff Loney, BS, LMHC, is WCMHC’s New Horizons Supervisor and also co-facilitates the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program. He serves as therapist at the Bridge Counseling Center in Winterset.

Jackie Leckbandserves part-time at WCMHC as Art Therapist, adding a popular and meaningful dimension to the New Horizons program.

Alice Cross, BA, received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. Alice returned to her birth state of Iowa after 25 years in Texas, where she worked for eight years at a large southwestern law firm. When not at WCMHC serving as Office Administrator, Alice enjoys spending time with her family, Bible study, floral gardening, piecing quilts, amateur photography, cooking, and reading.

Donna Weinkoetz serves as WCMHC’s Billing & Support Services Coordinator. Originally from Orient, Donna has worked in the mental health field for several years. She travels, along with Dr. Olson, to the Guthrie Center satellite office once a month. Donna enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching youth sports teams, photography, and scrapbooking.
